This is helpful in prevention of over tightening of bolts, and also, breakage of bolts due to over-tightening. The torque wrenches also come in different variants such as simple torque wrenches, hydraulic torque wrenches and pneumatic torque wrenches. The simple torque wrench is just a simple wrench with a meter attached to it to measure the force applied. A simple torque wrench needs to be calibrated as the meter sometimes shows false readings. A pneumatic torque wrench uses the air pressure for its operation, but it makes a lot of noise. In the operations where you need a very high power, a high degree of accuracy and minimum noise, then you can use hydraulic torque wrenches. The hydraulic torque wrenches are very quite in operation and are very accurate.
